Chalkdust has been with me in a number of forms over the past few years, first
starting as a black and white strip back in 2002 (the first 20 or so comics) then
re-emerging as a color feature in mid-2005. It ran online that way for more than
a year, finally ending in August 2006 with more than 200 strips completed.
It's
a continuation of sorts of "Sinking Ship"with Jake Phillips entering
the workforce as a teacher, since no other jobs were available. He soons finds
that maybe being unemployed isn't so bad after all!
